This week saw the publication of a new original fairy tale from Rebecca Hurst: The Alchemist's Daughter

Even though we've been publishing steadily since our first story in March of this year, we haven't yet paired any fiction pieces with original artwork submitted directly to The Wild Hunt. Artist Alexi Francis sent us her online portfolio a few months ago, but we've been waiting for the perfect story to pair with her illustration.

Alexi's art finds inspiration in nature, mythology, and fairy tales. Her colors are bold and subjects remind us of fantastical places and folklore creatures we adore.

Read The Alchemist's Daughter by Rebecca Hurst and check out Alexi Francis' website and portfolio.

The Wild Hunt magazine pairs texts with visual artwork. If you would like your work to be paired with a piece, please submit your online portfolio. If you're interested in creating an original piece for an already accepted text, we are also more than happy to consider this.
