We've heard little drops in email exchanges with contributors about their story inspirations. They've been vague, in passing, and about a sentence long (we still love hearing them, though).

But June author, Gwendolyn Kiste, laid it out for us on her personal blog. It was wonderful to read about Gwendolyn's love for magical realism, and more about her inspiration and motivations.

Read "All the Hippies are Dying" and then go check out her blog post.

‘All the Hippies Are Dying’ is an oddly personal tale, one that highlights my love of turntables and vinyl and 1960s music. In a way, I’ve been carrying this story with me since I was fifteen years old and started researching Woodstock in books at the public library.
